Summary

"Mother to Be" describes the marriages of three women. Gao Jiafei is a fertility center consultant, newly wed and pregnant but suffers a miscarriage. Guo Qin is a brilliant, capable career woman, who doesn't have an easy time with relationships. Sun Lifang is a full-time housewife, married into a rich family. Her goal is to be a good wife and mother. She waits for good news of pregnancy to no avail.
