Summary

Sharpay Evans is bound for the bright lights of New York City, convinced instant fame and fortune are in the bag (designer bag, that is). But the theatre is a dog-eat-dog world, as she and her pup Boi discover when they encounter a scheming Broadway starlet, who---with her pampered pooch by her side---will do anything to crush the competition.
