Summary

In the late Gaozong era of the Tang dynasty, the young Dee Renjie arrives in Luoyang and gets embroiled in the case of the courtesan Yin Ruiji's abduction. He saves Yin Ruiji and earns the trust of Chief Minister Yuchi Zhenjin of the Court of Judicature and Revision, because of their encounter. At the same time, Dee Renjie gets to know the unlucky Shatuo Zhong in the prison of the court.
