Summary

Based on a true story, South Korean mountaineer Um Hong-gil completed 38 excursions in the Himalayas over 22 years. Between 2000 and 2003, he climbed K2, Shishapangma and Mount Everest with his young comrade Park Moo-taek. In 2004, Park Moo-taek died in an accident while descending Mount Everest. To recover his body, Um Hong-gil led an unprecedented expedition to Mount Everest’s death zone.
