Another Sight

Another Sight does possess some attractive qualities. There's an interesting story and a strong enough central character to hold it all together. Meeting some famous faces from the Victorian era of technological advancement is a nice touch, but these moments are few and far between. Most of the time you'll be wrestling with a needlessly clunky set of platforming mechanics and some repetitive level designs and not overly creative puzzles. The visual impairment gimmick does work to an extent, but you get the impression this would have worked much better as a local co-op experience rather than as a solo adventure.

Another Sight might not be an adventure platformer that will be remembered like Inside, but it did manage to make playing as a blind girl tolerable. Replay value is low with this one, since there is no post game content and the only collectibles are pages to the character wiki that contains interesting information that should have been an aspect of the actual story being told. The forced walking portions may also kill any desire to replay Another Sight. The moment to moment puzzle-platforming and character switching is the glue that holds this baby together.

Lunar Great Wall Studios have made an intriguing and magical game, within Another Sight, with a premise that keeps you hooked until you finish it.

Another Sight begins with an original proposal in platforming genre but ends with some problems. Good if you're lokking for something short to disconnect from other games.

Overall the game is pretty enjoyable puzzle game and should last most people about 6-7 hours to get through the storyline and its different puzzles, you just need to be able to see past the frustrating elements to get the best out of the game.

As it stands, we have a decent game that will give puzzle fans plenty to enjoy. And something for those looking for a unique spin on a growingly popular two-character formula.

Another Sight offers an interesting view on the world of a blind person and manages to achieve that with a great ensemble playing between kit and her cat Hodge. The game suffers a bit from technical limitations, simple riddles and a bad story-pacing, which reduces the whole picture a bit.
