Even if you can play through the regular version of the game in your sleep, VS. Super Mario Bros. is an excellent - and challenging - choice for platforming fans.

Arcade Archives: VS. Super Mario Bros. is an excellent update of a classic game. However, at $7.99, this refresh of one of gaming's greatest classics is hard to recommend to all but the most passionate fans of Nintendo's trademark plumber.

Arcade Archives VS. Super Mario Bros. is a rather interesting version of the much-beloved platformer thanks to its customisable options and unique line-up of levels. Veterans expecting something drastically different from this arcade adaption may leave disappointed but those seeking a chance to play some classic Mario on the go could do a lot worse.
