Artis Impact has superb presentation, but fails on delivering a cohesive narrative or engaging game design.
Read full review ↗"A heartwarming indie journey" Artis Impact isn't just a traditional RPG; it's an innovative story-based adventure that combines a rich narrative, broad freedom, and a distinctive art style. Despite some flaws, such as simple combat or the absence of some support systems, the overall experience has a strong character and high replay value, making it a compelling indie game that deserves attention.
Read full review ↗All in all, Artis Impact is a fascinating work of art from a solo developer. I just wish the combat was more balanced and the English translation were better.
Read full review ↗Artis Impact is definitely a title with a lot of soul and little substance, with an artistic side created by a talented person and a gameplay side that is not entirely clear how it was conceived, but all in all, it's not a title that I would advise against, because if you buy it during a sale or out of pure curiosity about its artistic side, it can provide about ten very enjoyable hours. (Except for the gameplay, which might make you hate it).
Read full review ↗While its breathtaking art style and hilarious characters are a triumph, Artis Impact is ultimately held back by underdeveloped gameplay and a story that shies away from its own compelling potential.
Read full review ↗A bitesize RPG with some incredibly gorgeous pixel art, Artis Impact has a quirkiness and charm that will either win you over, or frustrate you beyond belief, but it’s odd systems and largely unrealised combat system will exasperate regardless.
Read full review ↗Artis Impact delivers a warm, character-driven RPG experience with charming worldbuilding and delightful side moments, but its unbalanced combat and uneven late-game pacing keep it from reaching its full potential.
Read full review ↗Artis Impact stands out because it knows exactly what it wants to be. It offers a tightly crafted experience where simplicity is its biggest strength, and that's a rare sight to see in an ever-growing world of RPGs. The slow pacing may not appeal to everyone, but the game is rewarding, only if you've got a little humanity to spare.
Read full review ↗Artis Impact is one of the year’s biggest surprises, overflowing with great humor, feel-good vibes, a brilliantly written heroine, and most importantly, the heart the creator poured into it. All of this is wrapped in a visually stunning world you’ll simply want to spend time in.
Read full review ↗Artis Impact will certainly attract fans of Octopath Traveler, Bravely Default, Dragon Quest, and Sea of Stars with their unique take on this turn-based RPG that will have players going from battling ferocious enemies and bosses, trying to earn an income, to enjoying a warming bowl of ramen in a single turn.
