ASKA is the Viking survival game you never knew you craved. No longer will I wonder what managing unruly Vikings is like—now it’s my full-time occupation! This gem, brought to us by the development team at Sand Sailor Studio and Thunderful Publishing, has kept me on the grind for hours.
Read full review ↗ASKA doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it adds enough twists to stand apart from the copy-and-paste survival gimmick you see these days. The blend of survival and management, along with Norse myth, creates a loop that you enjoy despite the flaws that come with the game. Sand Sailor Studio's ambition shines through, but I hope they've taken notes on what they can do better.
Read full review ↗ASKA has a pretty decent foundation. The mechanics are all there, it has a good system with the villagers and a built-in co-op as well. With a little bit more fine-tuning over the next few months, I think that ASKA can hold its own against some of the more established survival games out there currently. With a current price of $25, I can see people wanting to wait just a bit longer for the developers to polish the game just a bit more and add more things to explore and fill out the world before investing their time.
