The great news is Commander Lilith and the Fight for Sanctuary DLC is more of the funny, loot-happy Borderlands 2 we know and love. It's a lot of fun and a novel way build anticipation for the sequel.

Some of Borderlands 2's gameplay and humor feels understandably dated, but the core loop remains satisfying

A great DLC pack from Gearbox. It's worth a minimal cost to fans of the series, but casual players can skip Commander Lilith without missing much.

While it does end abruptly, the time spent was still entertaining. Is it as good as Tiny Tina’s Assault On Dragon Keep? Well. . . no, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get a lot of enjoyment out of this new expansion.

If you want a new location to shoot bandits in, this DLC is passable. While it’s free, there’s no harm in grabbing it. However, when Gearbox adds its pricetag, you’re better off getting something with a little more substance to it.
