Crusader Kings 3: Royal Court is the best kind of strategy expansion, weaving in new features that make running a kingdom a more complete and cohesive experience.

While Royal Court’s new additions are enjoyable, they don’t particularly affect the core gameplay loop.

If you're looking for a strategy game that can convince you to get lost in the middle of all this detail; Crusader Kings 3 is one of the most successful performers in this regard and manages to take another step forward with the Royal Court supplement pack. I think the sequel will be stronger.

The 3D throne room might not be as interesting as I expected, but the events and the new culture System is what makes Royal Court shine. A must have for those who want more roleplay in Crusader Kings 3.

Royal Court is a pricey expansion, but it helps Crusader Kings 3 take another step toward representing that Game of Thones-ian medieval ruler fantasy. Alongside that the cultural hybridisation and divergence also mean it’s building out the foundations of the actual grand strategy in intriguing ways for the game’s future.

Crusader Kings III: Royal Court offers a plethora of customization options and more role-playing flavor. Sadly, it's bogged down by its reliance on random events that can get tiresome later in your campaign.

Crusader Kings 3: Royal Court adds plenty of flavor and introduces new ways to obtain bonuses for your realm while fleshing out how deeply you can interact with it. The feature that gives it its name isn't as grand as it could be, due to repeating events and a 3D space that becomes a bit boring to look at even if you change its architectural style.
