Dealer's Life 2

Dealer's Life 2 is a simple pawnshop tycoon game that’s incredibly repetitive, lacks a story, and features completely unnecessary music. On PC, I’d say it’s downright unsuitable, but on mobile, it’s actually a pretty simple and fun game that’ll keep you entertained in your spare time. Otherwise, even with its gameplay and accessibility for all players, it’s pointless. It’s not the kind of game you’ll sit down to and spend dozens of hours enjoying the life of a pawnbroker.

Great potential wasted by seemingly random events, the dumb AI allowed me to constantly scam them with no backlash.

Dealer’s Life 2 is a niche game that’s best enjoyed in short sessions over a longer time frame. The haggling mechanics balances revealed info and hunches well and the special events add some needed variety. But after around one week of in-game time, I start to get annoyed at the randomness of the objects and the very rare items I lack the money to try and get.
