Deathless: The Hero Quest

It's very clear that the clever strategic implementation and stand-out visuals in Deathless. The Hero Quest make it one high quality roguelike. 🎴

Even though it was slightly held back by some issues on Nintendo’s handheld, I’m still beyond happy I finally got to dive into Deathless. The Hero Quest on Switch. This is an incredibly well made rogue-like deckbuilder that I would recommend even to those hesitant to jump into the genre. Whether you play it for the stunning artwork, unique Slavic story or just because you love the genre, this is one game every fantasy fan should check out.

Deathless. The Hero Quest will be firmly installed on my Xbox for some time, it’s become a ‘go to’ game at the moment, perfect for a lengthy session or even for a quick twenty minute blast, if time allows. The subtle tweaks to the genre formula combined with the hardy story-telling makes this a big ol’ recommendation from us here at GF!

Developed by Moonlight Games, Deathless wraps solid card mechanics inside a world of lore, mythical beasts, and grim fairy-tale energy. It’s stylish, surprisingly deep and fun to tinker with. There are plenty options to tinker with as well as a selection of heroes to choose from to challenge yourself.
