The bright, flashing lights - and admittedly catchy thumping club music - coupled with an eye-watering amount of modes and game/bot customisation isn't quite enough to dress up what essentially feels like a promising idea that's vastly undercooked. A little more time in the oven - and with a more appetising and interesting main course - and Disco Dodgeball could have been a much stronger option on the small, but rapidly growing menu of online-focused games for Switch.
Read full review ↗Disco Dodgeball Remix has a flair of its own and it features a visual and audio environment that are pretty unique. It doesn't fully live up to those standards, though, as the game's experience with the multiplayer component ends up feeling short due to a lack of online opponents and to a control system that needs more work.
Read full review ↗An odd combination of automatons and a reflexive sport turns out to make for a pretty fun and addictive experience, overall. Disco Dodgeball Remix on Nintendo Switch doesn't quite have the player count necessary for a truly chaotic time online, but more than makes up for it with competent AI foes, a boundless list of modes and parameters to choose from, and sufficient offline options to enjoy.
Read full review ↗Disco Dodgeball Remix is a fun, fast-paced and very addictive game which I had a lot of fun experiencing for this review. The game has a lot to offer when playing online and offline, and the experience can be tailored for players of all skill levels. The trophy list is certainly challenging and will probably make this one a rare Platinum trophy, but if you persevere and have a proper amount of patience, you will surely prevail. I hope you enjoy this one as well!

Read full review ↗Whilst it's not quite the next Rocket League it's still a rather good arena-based team game that's easy to drop into and play for short periods.
Read full review ↗With everything said, Disco Dodgeball Remix remains a fun game at its core. While it does have some pretty strong problems to own up to, it has the potential to be a fun game for killing time.
Read full review ↗Although I initially found the movement and aiming to be a little frustrating, the game was a heck of a lot of fun once I got used to it. There are so many different modes and arenas that we didn't find it repetitive at all and there truly is a mode that should appeal to every style of gamer.
