Dunk Dunk is a pretty affordable and fun twist on the rules of basketball, with enjoyable and snappy gameplay that you can hop right into. While a few of its ideas don't land, and the game's frustrating camera and UI clarity can cause problems, the barrier to entry is so low that it is a solid, snackable experience to jump into now and again. Just don't expect this to be the next party game you and your friends are hooked on.

If you’re looking for a polished sports title, Dunk Dunk isn’t completely worth it, not even as a silly arcade or party game. The game does cost $8.99, which isn’t terrible but it’s only worth picking up to play with other real people, and you might not get more than an hour or two out of it. If it was $5 or less, it would be a decent pickup.

With a herky-jerky camera and gameplay that doesn't really do anything particularly noteworthy, Dunk Dunk offers okay indie sports fun. 🏀

While it works reasonably well as a local multiplayer action romp, a lack of nuance and muddled action hold it back

Dunk Dunk isn’t just a good time, it’s an instant good time. There are no long-winded cutscenes, no deep progression systems, and absolutely no filler. It knows what it is: a party-ready, platforming basketball brawl that’s here for short bursts of pure mayhem. It may not convert the hardcore sports simulation crowd, but for fans of platformers, couch co-op, and lighthearted competition, this is a no-brainer. Throw in a free demo, and Dunk Dunk is a slam dunk for arcade sports fans everywhere.

Dunk Dunk is a really fun party game, and that is exactly how it should be approached. It isn’t a game that expects you to play for hours at a time, but instead, it is one that wants you to simply jump into it from time to time when you feel like it. It is one of those games where you turn it on, play a handful of crazy rounds, and then move on with your day. Things can get very hectic, which it makes it a perfect party game with friends, and the handful of gameplay modes are more than enough to keep you busy.
