Farmer's Life

Farmer’s Life is a rough, unfinished gem with undeniable potential. It’s ugly, it’s janky, and it’s strangely captivating. If the developers continue to update and refine the game, it could grow into something truly unique. For now, it’s a fascinating mess—one that’s worth keeping an eye on, even if it’s not quite ready for harvest. If you’re down with the sickness and enjoy a bit of misery with your mayhem, Farmer’s Life might just be the farming sim you never knew you needed.

I’m not saying that Farmer’s Life is a poor example of the genre. However, there are better games in this field (pun not intended). The controls are a little lacklustre, and the replay value is limited unless you fall for its farming charms. Additionally, the lack of guidance is annoying, and the additional tasks are plagued with problems. Accordingly, though I enjoyed my time with it, you may want to give it a miss. Farmer’s Life is not for everyone. It’s rough, unforgiving, and frequently inelegant. But it’s also ambitious, atmospheric, and deeply human in a way few sims are.
