It’s a simulator with all the trimmings, but it has one significant weakness—a lack of variety in the calls. In my opinion, this is the game’s biggest flaw, which can make it feel repetitive fairly quickly.

Its standout feature is the sophisticated fire physics, which turns every blaze into a strategic puzzle. While the NPC AI can occasionally struggle with complex tasks and the mission variety thins out over long sessions, the thrill of tackling a massive warehouse fire with three friends is unmatched. It’s a solid, authentic simulation that prioritizes procedure over spectacle, offering a rewarding grind for those who respect the red truck.

Firefighting Simulator: Ignite works as a fun and intense simulator, combining planning, coordination and hands-on action against the flames. Its dynamic fires and cooperative play greatly improve the experience, even if the game lacks more life between missions.

It is graphically impressive and solid performance wise. Whether you’re fulfilling a childhood dream or simply looking for a fresh gaming experience, Ignite delivers.

Firefighting Simulator: Ignite isn’t going to be for everyone. If you come looking for high-octane action, you’ll probably bounce off quickly. But if you’re patient and willing to embrace its deliberate pacing, there’s a rewarding experience here. It’s niche, no doubt, but it’s a niche worth exploring.

Although it has some glaring performance and AI issues, “Firefighting Simulator: Ignite” is by far the most authentic firefighting game I’ve ever played. It’s challenging enough solo and a blast in coop. A must have for simulation fans.

Weltenbauer should be commended for creating such an immersive and exciting experience, one that respects the profession it simulates while delivering tense, rewarding gameplay. With additional DLC planned for later this year - promising new missions, vehicles, and gear - there's plenty to look forward to for those ready to don their virtual firefighting gear and answer the call.

While it’s not quite making a childhood dream a reality, Firefighting Simulator: Ignite is the next best thing.

It’s helped along by some amazing visuals that allow it to really feel like a current-generation sim game, something which is unusual in this genre.

A fiery, fun, and authentic-enough simulator that shines brightest when played with friends. With updates and mod support, it has the potential to become the definitive firefighting game.
