You’ll genuinely want to explore every nook and cranny of the various environments too, because Half Past Fate looks stunning. It’s a perfect blend of 2D sprites and 3D environments, and everything from the character models to the tiny cups of coffee burst with personality - it’s one of the most beautiful pixel art games we’ve seen in a good while.

Read full review ↗Half Past Fate is a simple yet enjoyable experience about love, fate, and being in the right place at the right time.
Read full review ↗Half Past Fate is certain to appeal to fans of romantic comedies who enjoy funny stories. While the game is rather short and sometimes it doesn't provide enough leads, the game's original concept and visual presentation help it create its own space. It's less clear if it will be enough to convince the wider audience who might not be easily swayed by its assets and simple gameplay.

If you're new to the genre, it's a nice way to get a feel for the style without getting overwhelmed by dozens of buttons, options and paths to follow.

Read full review ↗Half Past Fate can be an incredibly sweet game, and the way even its minor characters reappear so that you can track how their lives change (or don’t) can be incredibly fulfilling. Rarely, though, the good intentions of characters can cause some of this sweetness to feel a touch contrived and unbelievable. Still, the story comes together in a really nice way, and the game’s simple mechanics rarely get in the way.
Read full review ↗Indie games deserve love, too, and Half Past Fate aims to satisfy! Playing through three different scenarios of romantic intent, the player's job is to kindle the passion for six fate-bound individuals. But will it be able to sate one's desire for emotional sublimity?
