Heads Up! Phones Down Edition had all the potential to be the next big thing in party games. The mobile version meant, going into the game, most knew roughly what they were getting. Unfortunately, they knew exactly what they were getting as this was just a port with a $40 price tag slapped on the front.

Heads Up! Phones Down Edition on PC fails to capture the magic of the original mobile game. The lack of Ellen’s recognition, combined with a less engaging gameplay experience on the big screen, makes this version a disappointing departure from the beloved word-guessing game. For those who fell in love with the mobile version, sticking to the original platform seems like the wisest choice.
