Fun story-driven non-roguelike cyberpunk RPG

Putting together what feels like a mix of RPG and deckbuilder strategy elements, HeistGeist at least manages to stand out from the crowd

The Slovakian version of Cyberpunk 2077 welcomes you to the RPG with cards in hand. And it also has a few trumps up its sleeve.

If you are looking for the next RPG to have a lot of fun with, then look no further than HeistGeist. The game is out now and certainly worth a look whether you are into RPGs, card-battling games, or all of the above.

The tight implementation and focus on the narrative works in HeistGeist’s favour, and its storytelling and gameplay do more than enough to make me interested should Alex ever return for more.

HeistGeist isn't all that original but it's an enjoyable adventure with plenty of action and intrigue to keep you engaged in the campaign.
