Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash is unfortunately cursed trash. Its shallow, unsatisfying combat system fails to capture the balletic brilliance of the anime and manga's striking skirmishes, and its disjointed single player campaign is unlikely to be enjoyed by franchise faithfuls or prospective new fans. Given the enormous popularity of Gege Aktusami's series, it's frankly unfathomable how badly Bandai Namco has dropped the ball here.

In the moment when Jujutsu Kaisen is scoring all the Anime Awards, the players get only half-baked game. It Works at start but fades so quickly with poor execution, lack of modes and empty arenas. Not even 15 fighters can save this combat game.

Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash boils the elements of the show down to a fighting game that's likely to appeal only to fans of the show. Even to them, we have to suggest there are many fighting games out there to better occupy your time.

Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash is not at all up to the manga or the anime. It could have been a good adaptation if it had benefited from care, ideas and consistency in its development. He does not honor his genre nor the manga he is supposed to adapt. The rendering is catastrophic, embarrassing and shameful for any lover of JJK.

I did enjoy my time with Jujitsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash, especially the online co-op mode; however, the combat can take a while to understand. Things aren't perfect here as there are some balancing issues and, while it's not going to re-invent the fighting genre, there is some fun to be had online if you can get over the game's short-comings.

Unfortunately, Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash falls short of expectations in terms of quality and is a disappointment, particularly when it comes to gameplay, visuals, and story. Although the game features iconic characters, it fails to provide an entertaining and engaging experience for either fans of the Jujutsu Kaisen universe or fighting game enthusiasts. While the game had the potential to be a hit, it falls short of the quality standards set by similar titles in this genre.
