Why play it

An adventure about characters out of their element, love gone awry, and agents sniffing around for unauthorized time travelers…

Story and worldbuilding

After swapping places with a caveman, Justin needs to back to his own time again. But the caveman-gone-hipster that took his place seems quite content in the modern world… The caveman might want to try out the local dating scene, maybe he’ll even run into Justin’s ex-girlfriend? Trying to get back to the present, Justin might first have to first pass through the future… Meanwhile, mechanical agents are looking to neutralize any unauthorized time travelers… With a future looking pretty grim, is there a way for our heroes to change the cause of history?

ustin Wack and the Big Time Hack takes you back to old-school point-and-click adventure games. The story is really silly, over the top, funny and ridiculous at times, but it all really works! The characters (especially Kloot) have really likable personalities and you want to help them out in their troubles.

Justin Wack and the Big Time Hack is a lighthearted and enjoyable point-and-click adventure that easily achieves what it sets out to do. Recapturing the challenge and humour from the greats back in the day whilst also adding modern improvements for those not looking to get stuck. Whilst only a single player this is a title you could quite easily share with a loved one (including younglings) if you want to try to solve puzzles together. If point and click have never been your thing then this game will unlikely change your opinion on the genre. It got plenty of smirks out of me so I certainly recommend it.

Justin Wack and the Big Time Hack is another great adventure for this year, which is recommended to all fans of the genre. It features good humor, a relatively long length, dozens of puzzles to solve and a clever and entertaining story that, without being overwhelming, makes it a highly enjoyable adventure experience.
