Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Band of Bastards

Band of Bastards is essentially a short side quest consisting of five combat-driven missions and an extremely unsatisfying conclusion.

Band of Bastards sticks to what it knows and as DLC goes does a good job of adding to the overall narrative, giving Henry several surprising, encouraging opportunities to express himself.

Band of Bastards is a satisfyingly violent DLC for one Kingdom Come, and one that does a good job of making you feel like part of brotherhood of vagrants. Just don't expect anything that strays too far from the formula established by the core game.

This new mercenary adventure ultimately feels like a fairly standard and not particularly significant side questline that would have fit much better within the original game itself.

Band of Bastards isn’t epic in length or bursting with content, and its overarching story isn’t likely to get its hooks in you, but it’s still a good reason to revisit Kingdom Come: Deliverance. And if you’re still making your way through the game for the first time, it’s even better.
