Madshot

Madshot is a 2D action platformer with rogue-like elements that draws you into a dark world inspired by the Lovecraftian universe. Although it suffers from somewhat repetitive enemies and a simpler story, it offers thrilling combat accompanied by energetic metal and rock music. Fans of titles like Hades, Cult of the Lamb, or Dead Cells are sure to love Madshot. Compatibility with the Steam Deck is a nice bonus that lets you enjoy the game on the go.

While it has a great animated look, and some positives, there’s just not enough variety and depth to take it further

Madshot has a good performance in the rendering of the game atmosphere and boss design, but the slightly rough combat system and the lack of depth of the growth system greatly affect the game's playability.

Madshot, with its official release, is an excellent and truly promising title that demonstrates how even a low budget can give birth to small gems.
