A pretty casual overall approach to strategy and base building with a decent story, but comes across as too simplistic

MiceGard isn’t a game-changer but for $10 it’s a short and charming adventure.

In the end I was able to enjoy myself with this MiceGard. The fighting is simplistic, there are no extensive features and the missions and gameplay remain quite varied, partly due to the excellent level design, the missions you have to complete and the upgrades you can perform. Graphically the game also looks quite good, with some minor flaws in the HUD and the blurry forests that look a bit strange. The audio even feels a bit like Game of Thrones. For a tenner this is a game that is definitely worth trying. Now that the title is available on the console, you will notice that this is a title that is more suitable for this than for the PC. So if you like an accessible adventure that plays well and offers a few hours of gameplay, then this is something refreshing that has more than enough to offer.

MiceGard is an enjoyable game that has you controlling a group of Viking mice as a unit to fight off frogs that are attacking their village. There are some text issues, but it's a minor annoyance when playing.
