Milo's Quest is a retro inspired, top-down, adventure puzzle game. The young puppy, Milo, is enjoying his time in the park and sees a delicious bone to chew on! This bone is cursed and sets free the Evil King Old Skull. Now it's up to Milo to go on an adventure to save the world by stopping the curse!

The visual style may not appeal to everyone, but Milo's Quest is an indie title worth checking out, with its shorter length reflected in the price. Replayability is dependent more on the ability to appreciate something that's cute, because there are no worthwhile goals once the game is complete - but that in itself is not a negative point for some people. Speed runs are encouraged, yet again are dependent on what a gamer enjoys doing.

Milo's Quest is a fun and cute game that plays like a simple RPG with a dog protagonist. There's a lot to like for the budget price, though it does lack some variety and is over rather quickly.

Budget puzzle and adventure games are pretty much a dime a dozen on the Switch but what about a budget title that sort of mashes those two together? While Milo's Quest isn't terribly challenging it does effectively blend some box pushing, relatively simple combat, and a fair amount of exploration together in a cute package that works...
