Innovation is key to annual titles, and while MotoGP 25 did move over to the Unreal Engine 5, there are other big changes included in this year's game

MotoGP 25 is a solid motorcycle racing sim that looks and plays well. It's got everything an enthusiast needs, from real-life riders to customizable bikes. After some time with the game, I still prefer four-wheeled races, but I also have a new appreciation for these two-wheeled beasts.

Overall, MotoGP 25 has become a well-rounded experience for die-hard racing fans. Anyone who follows MotoGP will get the game anyway, but even those interested can take a look thanks to the expanded Arcade Experience. Dynamic team changes in career mode, revised graphics and up-to-date statistics should persuade veterans of the series to switch to the latest game. So go for it!

Overall, MotoGP 25 is a solid experience for fans of motorcycle simulators and racing games. With improved graphics, realistic physics, and new game modes, it provides hours of fun for both single-player and multiplayer sessions. The game has a few quirks, mainly regarding gamepad controls and responsiveness, but it still offers a great time. If you’re a longtime fan of the series, MotoGP 25 will delight you and provide plenty of challenge.

In the end, given the current state of the market, it seems that MotoGP 25 remains the best and most complete choice for fans of motorcycle simulation games, and even for those who enjoy the arcade side of the genre. While the switch to a new graphics engine and the addition of new arcade physics modes shouldn’t be overlooked, if you already own last year’s version, I’d recommend waiting a few more months and picking this one up at a discount.

Even though it's a respectable feature, don't really believe in the “adaptive difficulty” or other basic adjustments of MotoGP 25. If you're interested in the game, either dive deep into the races that simulate all the hardships and glories of real life, or invest time in the settings until you reach an appropriate balance of challenge and fun. The competent production, with beautiful visuals whether in the first or third person, and fast loading encourages the competition for championships and races. A great suggestion for lovers of high speed and who are willing to dedicate themselves to a rich and fun, but equally demanding universe.

With its textbook approach, this year's edition made it clear to beginners that MotoGP games are not to be taken lightly. Playing it safe, without too much risk, it delivered an enjoyable product worth playing, especially for those who are not regular virtual motorcyclists.
