Mushroom Quest is a simplistic, cheap game that provides us with a basic Sōkoban gameplay. Its redeeming quality is that it will give you 1000G and 10 achievements for $5 or your local equivalent.

Puzzle fans seeking a light diversion may not want to devote the time required to solve some of the later challenges in Mushroom Quest, but serious solvers are going to be pleased with this purchase. Long live the block (and the mushrooms that push it).

At this point in not only the Switch's lifespan, let alone taking into consideration the whole of modern gaming, a game like Mushroom Quest begs the question "Do we really need another box pushing puzzle game?" There's a nice retro pixel art vibe, mechanically what little there is to the game works well, and the puzzles offer up a reasonable enough challenge...
