My Friend Peppa Pig is not a game for the masses. Instead, it carefully caters its gameplay, visuals, story and controls to those they know will play it most. However, without my assistance and some online help, Potato City would have only ever been a dream for my daughter, and I imagine many other children around her age. And in all honesty, it isn't worth the trouble! Aside from this gripe, it is an impressive looking game with easy controls that puts the individual in their own episode with one of their most beloved characters, Peppa Pig.

My Friend Peppa Pig is obviously aimed at children of a certain age. Whilst my son is quite advanced in his gaming ability at his age, he really enjoyed this despite it being a little too simplistic for him. This is an absolutely ideal stress-free experience for Peppa Pig fans and parents needn’t worry about it being the first introduction to gaming

A child friendly, deeply approachable title that’s design specifically for the youngest of gamers, My Friend Peppa Pig is a triumph in tie-in game design. Like an interactive episode of the TV show, the little Peppa fans in your life will likely love this title because of its authenticity and ease of interactivity.

How great is it that we have games like My Friend Peppa Pig where kids can be watching the TV show, then jump straight into a game where they can have fun in this non-violent interactive sandbox within Peppa’s world. This is certainly aimed at those kids who are fans of the TV show with easy navigation and fun puzzles.

My Friend Peppa Pig is a game that can't fulfill the expectations of even the youngest of players and you will get bored pretty much immediately. There is just nothing to do and the better option is probably to go watch the series instead.

No other kids game has ever come as close to perfectly recreating the look and feel of the TV series it’s based on. And so, the joy on a young child’s face as they star in an interactive episode of their favourite cartoon? That’s priceless, surely.

My Friend Peppa Pig is a great game if your kids are a fan of the show and it stays true to the formula. It has simple and highly accessible controls for even the youngest players and could easily be mistaken for an episode of the TV show for onlookers.

My Friend Peppa Pig is not a game most of us will play. However, it’s not your standard licensed nightmare fuel. It was created to be a carefully crafted experience for the show’s young fans. However it looks impressive and perfectly succeeds in delivering the experience of being inside the show. So for any parents with kids obsessed with the show, this game was made for them.

Petoons Studio must be commended for creating such an authentic Peppa Pig experience with My Friend Peppa Pig. My daughter loved playing along with Peppa Pig and her friends, she was fascinated that she was controlling a game that looked identical to the cartoon that she enjoys so much.

Kudos to developers Outright Games for bringing Peppa into the world gaming who perfectly bring this franchise to life on this medium. It also encourages exploration, some trial and error but rest assured, it never becomes too difficult and is more about the world of our favourite piglet plus interacting with it.
