It offers a nostalgic experience for older players, while younger players might find it a fresh challenge. Grab your shotgun and go take on the zombies.

Nightmare of Decay knows exactly what it wants to be, ticking off the list of necessary survival horror requirements with ease; it's simply a fabulous slice of retro-themed action-horror.

I still say it’s worth giving a shot if you’re into this style of retro horror, more so because of how exceptionally cheap it is, as long as you’re aware of the few clumsy design choices that all too often get in the way of the experience.

Nightmare of Decay does not excel, little but sure, especially in light of some flaws in the design of boss fights and certain enemies.
