Why play it

#Drive is an endless driving video game inspired by road and action movies from the 70s and 80s. As simple as possible, allowing the player to pick a car, pick the place and just hit the road. Just be aware not to hit anything else. No matter where we drive, no matter what we drive or how fast we drive. We simply chose to drive.

Drive!Drive!Drive! has the heart of a great arcade racer, but isn’t quite there yet.

#DRIVE is a low-key simulation game with pretty backdrops that will relax you but may not keep you entertained for long.

DriveDriveDrive is a rather confusing racer to explain. At first the concept of multitasking different race tracks sounds like a stupid idea to pull off, but the team at Different Cloth managed to do it quite well, thanks to tight controls and managing to make the chaotic nature feel fun.

Drive!Drive!Drive! turns you into the most intelligent being on the race track -- multiple simultaneous times -- and it's glorious!

Drive!Drive!Drive! is a stylish and fun attempt to rewrite the rulebook on racing games. Sadly it’s not always entirely successful, with a relatively simplistic handling model and a lack of challenge on the standard setting, but for those willing to take a chance there’s still a lot to like about it’s unique take on the racing genre.

There is also a four-player competitive racing mode which, unfortunately, is purely online. There is no co-op or local play which was to be expected considering how the game plays. It would probably have been too hectic to have local split screen multiplayer where each racer is changing between all tracks!

Drive!Drive!Drive! is a very fun arcade racer. If you are a fan of this genre, I recommend that you pick this up. While the physics and collision problems and dying online community can dampen the experience, Drive!Drive!Drive! is like no game I have played before, and probably won’t be like any game I play after. For such a tired genre, it was awesome that developer Different Cloth could breathe new life into it with solid innovation.

Different Cloth’s Drive!Drive!Drive! is ambitious and could have been great. Instead, it is a decent entry that could, maybe, be a solid launching pad for future sequels.

Drive!Drive!Drive! is an interesting concept and definitely has bags of potential, but the execution of the final product and an entirely dead multiplayer scene means that it's easy to overlook for the asking price.

Drive!Drive!Drive! is supported by a very interesting gameplay mechanic, but the experience that surrounds that mechanic is hollow.
