Outriders Worldslayer doubles down on everything from the base game, both the good and the bad.
Read full review ↗With an expanded endgame, new difficulty tiers, and new story content, Worldslayer adds a lot to Outriders, even if none of the additions are mind-blowing.
Read full review ↗It’s silly and nerdy and dark and takes no prisoners as it violently demands your attention from start to finish.
Read full review ↗Outriders: Worldslayer provides an exceedingly brief albeit intense story campaign, though its meat is clearly in the vastly improved endgame experience. The Trial of Tarya Gratar, the Apocalypse gear, and Ascension and PAX systems all contribute to a better, deeper endgame. Ultimately, though, the game plays exactly the same as the original Outriders and is unlikely to win over any new fans.
Read full review ↗Outriders: Worldslayer offers more content and fast action fighting, which made the base game fun to play but struggles to find its story compelling.
Read full review ↗The endgame gives the impression that it didn't add anything substantial, it just added different things to make it boring in a little more hours.
Read full review ↗Back in 2021, Outriders launched and I excitedly jumped on as soon as I was able to get it downloaded. I spent the good part of a week levelling up my Trickster build before fatigue took over. I didn’t finish the main story and occasionally I would jump back in for a day or two but there was never enough to keep me engaged. With the release of the Worldslayer DLC, I returned to explore all the new changes, but can it hold my interest longer this time?
Read full review ↗While I think that Worldslayer is a step in the right direction, I just don’t know if its going to be enough to keep people playing in the long term.
Read full review ↗Outriders Worldslayer is a great addition to an already fun game. It adds to their solid variance of builds and offers those who love the game plenty of new and improved base game features to push the most fun areas of the game. builds. However, the game has some griping pains with an overly repetitive gameplay loop that doesn’t hold up to the final apocalypse tier level for the most casual fans.
Read full review ↗I enjoyed my short time with this bite-size addition that lasted just under eight hours, but to say that some of its bountiful inclusions were outside of any of its boss encounters would be a slight on what's being delivered. It's an investment, and one that Outriders' fans will love, but the casual may question coming back to the title for this.
