Blizzard's take on the first-person shooter sees a generosity of character accompanied by beautifully deep mechanics.

It's not flawless, but Overwatch is still one of the best new multiplayer shooters to arrive in years.

Overwatch can be great, but needs friends to back it up

Overwatch is like going for an evening of speed dating and realizing everyone you meet is marriage material. I'll stare at the character select screen before each match, unable to decide which hero I want to play because I want to play them all.

Truly, I believe that we'll be seeing a lot more of Overwatch in the years to come. Blizzard has a great track record when it comes to long-term support, and given how good it is out of the gate, it can only get better from here. Blizzard has truly snatched victory from the draws of defeat.
