Not perfect by any means, but PandaBall is a pretty solid arcade-style soccer game. It’s missing a few things I wish it had, and some things like the text size are less than ideal, but overall, it’s an enjoyable take on quick and simple soccer matches.

PandaBall is a very funny game. It offers nothing more than what it shows and it's enough, since it does not promise anything more. A great game for occasional guests, the single and training modes are more suitable for practicing to play against other people in future. For no english speakers, it's a pity that it isn't translated to other languages, although it's not necessary to enjoy it. Some elements and texts are shown very small elements on the screen, but they do not lower the level of fun.

Pandaball is a silly idea that plays ok but is just too lacking in content to really recommend. There is fun to be had here but I don't understand the decisions not to include multiplayer tournaments or online play. The end result is a game that will prove mildly diverting for younger players but has little to no long term substance. Unfortunately for these pandas, the game itself is more boo than bam.

While a lack of content and online multiplayer bogs it down, this indie succeeds in delivering action-packed matches filled with delights and surprises. When considering its core purpose as a couch-versus revival, PandaBall’s fun factor is as black and white as its featured furry mammals.

It may look goofy but PandaBall provides intuitive and exciting arcade soccer action that's even more enjoyable with a local chum.
