As simulator games go, Pets Hotel isn't one I'd recommend. Too many repetitive jobs and lack of polish make this a chore to play.
Read full review ↗Running a pet hotel would be a dream job for many, and this does an okay job of recreating that experience, but there are better alternatives out there. Pets Hotel is a solid effort but has too much going against it.
Read full review ↗Overall, I think Pets Hotel is a good addition to the simulation genre. I was immediately drawn to the game due to my love of animals, and the game hasn’t disappointed. There are a couple of tweaks that I think could be made that I have covered, however, in terms of overall enjoyment, I think Pets Hotel has done well. Therefore, Pets Hotel receives the Thumb Culture Gold Award.
Read full review ↗Pets Hotel isn't a bad game at all, but it falls short in many ways. In the early stages, it's very relaxing and fun, but it becomes somewhat repetitive as the hours go by. All of its mechanics are simple and none of them are explored in depth, which works against the game itself.
Read full review ↗Pets Hotel definitely has potential, but for me personally, it feels slower-paced than other simulation games. Add to that a lengthy tutorial and repetitive challenges, and after a few hours, you’ll surely start to get bored, just like I did. Unfortunately, not even the cute animal animations can save the game. It would definitely benefit from a story mode, because otherwise it will only keep you entertained for a weekend or two.
