It isn’t perfect, especially with those long loads and occasional graphical hiccups, but for pure golf gameplay, it’s the best you can get on the move and is still very impressive.

On Switch 2, it has so many compromises though and I can earnestly only recommend this game to a specific type of player: the Switch 2 gamer who doesn't own another platform and never leaves their house. It has frustrating technical issues and is little more than a crappy demo when you're not connected online. It's impressive to see PGA Tour 2K25 run well on a Switch 2, but you're better off golfing with this game on a platform it was actually designed for.

A great showing for PGA2K25, it has hit it straight down the middle and onto the green for birdie. With a great new swing mechanic, and an improved MyCareer mode as well as new visuals, it’s worthy of a green jacket or a claret jug. Now let’s all meet on the 9th hole at 9 o clock.

Overall I think that PGA Tour 2k25 is a really good golf game that is close to being a great golf game. There just needs to be a bit more put into the overall presentation from the MyCareer interviews to the overall mid match flair of replay’s and fun camera angles. If they can add that bit of fun while fixing the announcer issues and get some more Pro’s to be scanned in, the next iteration should be great.
