Pizza Possum delivers a clever twist on classic arcade gameplay with its simple and fun stealth-based gameplay, and it has a ton of charm in its colorful visuals and appealing take on an Italian landscape. But a lack of content and awkward handling of power-ups provide a sour taste, though there's still enough here that you should at least consider sampling a bite of it. If it's good enough for our possum buddy, after all…
Read full review ↗As a bite sized, Saturday morning cartoon experience, it’s hard to beat. It’s cute, simple, and accessible to pretty much anyone.
Read full review ↗Easy to pick up, impossible to put down is the best way to describe Pizza Possum. Every element feels designed to keep you playing. The soundtrack is fun, and the excitement drawn for it keeps the player engaged as they try to beat their own score. If you are after a new classic feeling arcade game, then the simple controls with the fun power-ups and exciting chases are definitely the way to go. On top of all of this, the co-op is fantastic, adding hilarity at every corner. And never forget, screaming and giggling as a crazed possum is always a fun way to enjoy a game.
Read full review ↗This game might not last long, but it almost seems aware of its limitations. Pizza Possum invites you to stop by, enjoy the bedlam and pandemonium with or without a friend, and then leave satisfied and fulfilled, like you yourself gobbled down that giant pizza the titular possum craves. This snack is incredibly enjoyable.

Read full review ↗Pizza Possum is a well-crafted bite-sized game that largely succeeds in what it sets out to do- a stressbuster that you can play solo or with your spouse or kids in short bursts. Cute visuals, goofy sound effects, smooth animations, and a simple but engaging gameplay loop make this one a winner. Oh, and it’s reasonably priced too. The addition of more content will ensure that Pizza Possum gets more recognition than it does right now.
Read full review ↗Pizza Possum is that little game that you start and finish in the same day, a typical arcade experience. It most likely won't leave an eternal mark on your history with video games, but it will be a lot of fun quickly if you enjoy basic stealth. Those who had contact with the Mega Drive/Sega Genesis may remember Bonanza Bros., a classic masterpiece of the genre (which could even appear on Switch Online, right), and who knows, maybe a wave of nostalgia will come? But that doesn't mean that others have nothing to enjoy here, as even aficionados of achievements and collectibles were covered. In short: it's hide and seek for everyone!
Read full review ↗Pizza Possum offers a casual and very fun experience, but the increasing difficulty and unbalanced progress can make the game challenging, especially due to the task of collecting crowns with no safety margin when captured. Co-op mode adds a welcome layer of fun, but the fact that it is local only makes this option somewhat limited and underutilized.
Read full review ↗Pizza Possum is a wonderful game that can be picked up by almost anyone and enjoyed. An offbeat and amusing premise lead into a mechanically sound game that works on pretty much every level. And is all wrapped in a presentation that is clear and absolutely adorable. My only complaints come from just how quickly the game runs its course; a bit more variety in the later parts of the game would have been the cherry ontop of the (possibly stolen) cake. But for the time that the game does keep you guessing, it was a fantastic ride. I can't wait to go back and see what other options I can find in the future, either by myself or dragging my friends along for another heist.
Read full review ↗I love arcade-like games and Pizza Possum is the most refreshing and unique title in the genre that I've played in a very long time.
