‘These Sunny Daze DLC’ is a colourful expansion to ‘POSTAL: Brain Damaged’, offering fans a fresh setting, new weapons, and additional enemies while keeping the high-octane, arena-style combat intact. The DLC doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it leverages the sunny vacation theme to inject new challenges, visual variety, and humour that’s as crude and chaotic as ever.
Read full review ↗Despite these technical flaws, POSTAL: Brain Damaged is a title that will please longtime fans of the series, as the game delivers everything expected from the franchise and even a little more.
Read full review ↗Although POSTAL Brain Damaged was completely different from the originals I loved, especially the second part, it still won my approval. This boomer shooter gave me a lot of fun and many hours of great entertainment. This makes it all the more painful that I cannot say the same about These Sunny Daze. The expansion turns out to be disappointing in almost every respect, although the core gameplay itself is still satisfying.
Read full review ↗Just when you thought he’d finally caught a break, the POSTAL Dude gets yanked out of vacation mode by a full-blown nationwide ginger purge. The new President is an old-news flag-humping lunatic, redheads are officially public enemy number one, and a tech-nerd Vice President just ran off with The Dude’s personal arsenal.
Read full review ↗The carnage is on par with the base game, and there’s a modest amount of content to be found here. The levels are as big as before, but there’s far less down time. Even the jokes in this game feels more modern and relevant this time around, compared to how things felt playing the boomer shooter originally. Sadly, at least in this build of the game I played, there are no new achievements relating to anything in the DLC. POSTAL: Brain Damaged – These Sunny Daze is a fine addition, but not an not essential one.
