You just have to hope the game cooperates to let you finish! We had multiple hard crashes, one of which corrupted our save, wiping away nearly an hour of puzzling. Still, we're going to assume the developer will issue a patch promptly, and as long as it does, this is PSVR2 at its most relaxed.

For puzzle fans, though, Puzzling Places is a fantastic experience. It is relaxing, satisfying, and packed with beautifully recreated locations. Sometimes it's nice to play a game that simply lets you unwind, and Puzzling Places does exactly that.

What I particularly enjoyed is that the dioramas are not static. For example, I built a winter scene in the city where several characters were walking through the snow. Whenever they left one puzzle piece, they would immediately reappear on the next. It is a great help while assembling the puzzle, but above all, it is simply incredibly charming how these little details breathe so much life into the dioramas.

Puzzling Places - 3D Jigsaw Sim is a simple, relaxing, and well-designed experience for those who enjoy putting together puzzles without any pressure. It works well on a flat screen, but it really shines in virtual reality. I would have liked to see more puzzles and a more polished Spanish translation, but it delivers on its promises.

Puzzling Places delivers a delightful and mindful experience that can induce a state of flow. Sometimes, the game feels downright frustrating if you get stuck and need help to make progress. But that is part of the challenge; the beauty and pain of jigsaw puzzles. This game can keep you amused and engaged for as long as you have puzzles to solve. It is the perfect game after a long workday when you want to relax and have a pleasant time. An ideal fit for the PS VR2, Puzzling Places is a must-have for any jigsaw puzzle fans.

Puzzling Places unexpectedly evokes that early childhood memory of connecting my first two Lego pieces together, not least because it deftly leverages the haptic feedback capabilities of the PSVR2 to replicate that sensation from those halcyon days many years on. Wholesome, relaxing and never anything less than totally satisfying whenever I need a break from the world, Puzzling Places is puzzle solving zen distilled into its finest form on PSVR2 that everybody can play.
