A game that not everyone will enjoy, but if you like trains, trust me that you will find this game so, like we say in Spain, "chu-chu-chuli".
Read full review ↗Railway Empire – Nintendo Switch Edition is definitely a tycoon time-sucker. Seeing your profits go up as your trains steam and roll is satisfying, and watching a tiny bit of history play out is interesting if you're into it. While this is not the most complex tycoon sim out there, it does have some harder mechanics for those seeking a challenge while also sill being accessible for anyone.
Read full review ↗Railway Empire is an excellent real-time strategy simulation game and this Nintendo Switch Edition retains its rewarding and engaging gameplay. Even with its less than stellar graphical performance, I still recommend checking it out, especially if you only own a Switch.
Read full review ↗As simulations of this sort are a rarity on the Switch first I'll say kudos to the developer and everyone involved for bringing this experience to the platform...
Read full review ↗There are events in history that are synonymous with the technologies that made them possible. The Westward expansion and colonisation of America and the idea of Manifest Destiny that accompanied, was in reality only possible because of the presence of the railway.
Read full review ↗GOOD - If you’ve been hankering for a really good simulation game but are disappointed by the lackluster showing so far on the Switch, then give this one a go. It should give fans of the genre hours and hours of enjoyment and allows you to play it in a way that suits you. However, it’s not great on the portable version for those of us with less than perfect eyesight.
Read full review ↗Railway Empire is a rare title to be on the Nintendo Switch as it lacks in the construction and management simulatior genre. There are various elements that would keep the fans to keep playing and you can exprience the 100 years of industrial revolution throughout the evolution of railway expansion. One technical downside is if you're playing it in handheld mode, the tiny tooltip text would keep your eyes squinting if you're planning to play it for long hours.
