Regiments is a Real-Time Tactics set in Germany 1989. The Cold War has gone hot, and the inferno is raging. Lead your Regiment through the fires of conflict and the fog of war. Break through the lines, call in artillery, maneuver, feign retreats, stage defenses, counter-attack. Do not relent.

Regiments is a truly excellent strategy game set during the Cold War. The period-accurate units and their level of detail are downright impressive in certain phases and scenes. You’ll also be surprised by the impressive AI, which is capable of tactical maneuvering—it will retreat when appropriate, and when it senses an opening, it will launch a fierce attack. Unfortunately, there is no multiplayer mode, which would be a natural fit for a game of this type.

Regiments puts some interesting spins on the Cold War RTS formula, but its sustainability and longevity are hampered by the lack of MP and multiplayer.

Regiments may give you the opportunity to try yourself out as a combined arms commander, but it doesn't go the extra mile to flesh out the experience to the fullest.
