Tanegashima offers a more relaxed adventure in the Science Adventure universe and is more than worth your time reading.

With impeccable detail and character work, this twisty tale manages to combine heartfelt down-to-earth character relationships and truly fascinating science fiction conspiracies without dropping the ball on either count.

While not as good as its predecessor Steins;Gate, Robotics;Notes Elite is still a solid visual novel. It’s got a solid, well-developed storyline, an excellent blend of slice of life and sci-fi elements, and some nice graphics and music to round it all out. Give it a look, that’s a pro tip.

Robotics;Notes Elite is an immersive visual novel that does its best to bring you into a world where it really feels like a group of teenagers can not only build an impressive mech, but make a difference in the world.

Robotics;Notes Elite is a highly enjoyable experience to play through. While it isn't perfect, it is perhaps the easiest title to introduce a newcomer to the excellent SciADV series.

Fun and intriguing, despite dragging the story at times, Robotics;Notes Elite is a great addition to the platform's visual novel library, specially with the caliber and weight that the SciADV games have for enthusiasts and fans of the genre.

The struggle with Robotics;Notes Double Pack is rather simple. It's a goofy game with a neat concept, but it takes a while before it catches you. The sequel does a better job of handling this, plus adding Daru to the cast is enough to get fans of Steins;Gate involved, though it's a big ask. If you're willing to invest in a new adventure that is more slice of life and less the gripping narrative of previous adventures, you'll probably enjoy it, otherwise, you might be better off skipping to the end.

Rough gameplay choices aside, Robotics;Notes Elite stands as a solid story that easily matches up to its predecessors, with its colorful cast of characters being an even bigger draw.

While Robotics;Notes certainly doesn’t attain the same incredible level of Steins;Gate, it nonetheless offers a highly engaging tale with plenty of interesting threads.

With such a convoluted, complex narrative going for it, Robotics;Notes is the kind of game that you'll end up musing over for quite some time. It's a little more grounded in the human experience than Steins;Gate, but the eclectic mix of genres, themes and motifs that the narrative scattershots its way through means that it needed to have that groundedness to keep players connected to it. So successful is it in its writing and presentation that Robotics;Notes will be remembered as one of the truly great visual novels. It's perhaps not as philosophical or dense as Steins;Gate, but it is more emotive and evocative.
