SBK 22

SBK22 is the return through the front door of one of the great motorcycling sagas.

If you equate MotoGP to F1 Racing, then Superbikes are the street car version. What this means in terms of gameplay is the Superbikes are less maneuverable and responsive. So they feel clunky and less enjoyable to ride. With such a driving model, you have to be more precise with your driving. If you find MotoGP 21 tough, you ain’t seen nothing yet. To tie things up, SBK 2022 is a tougher and less content-rich game than MotoGP 22. Unless you are a die-hard fan of super bike racing, MotoGP 22 is the better choice for casual players.

SBK 22 brings on the one hand the deep driveability characterizing Milestone's motorcycle simulations, but on the other hand it comes across almost as a clone of MotoGP 21, stingy in content and with various issues in urgent need of correction. Recommended only if you have not previously played the last MotoGP games.

SBK 22 is now available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Microsoft Windows.

SBK 22 has a solid core for fans of the sport who want to sink time and master their bike, but it's not a game you're going to want to go into blindly.

Without infamy, without praise, milestone's return to the world of Superbike. We expected something more, it is useless to deny it: the Milanese team has limited itself to doing the bare essentials.

SBK 22 returns to our consoles 10 years later. Get ready to get on the most powerful bikes in this new installment that is ready to be crowned as the best superbike game on the market.

SBK 22 does its job without excelling in anything and it feels like MotoGP 22 with just the SBK bikes a bit more than it should.

Unless you’re already a diehard fan of Superbike, then SBK 22 is just a fine yet ultimately skippable racing game.
