The extra Taito Gallery unlocks are what I’d argue would normally be worth 100%ing all the levels and squeezing some extra time out of the game for those not into scoring, but with their descriptions broken it makes obtaining them rather pointless, and I’m kinda stunned they still haven’t been fixed by now.

Spica Adventure pulls off the unique trick of making you feel nostalgic for a game you've likely never played before. Kinetic, frenetic, perhaps even system syncretic, it's a fun call-back to the heyday of chipper action platformers.

Spica Adventure is a very sweet and colorful game that can be enjoyed by almost anyone. Try it out if you have the means, I’m pretty sure you will like it.

The branching level paths and score-chasing gameplay give it solid replay value, even if the overall runtime is fairly short. Most importantly, it captures that satisfying arcade feeling of quick runs, improving your skills, and chasing better scores. If you enjoy retro-style action games or have a soft spot for classic arcade experiences, this is definitely worth checking out. It may not be the longest adventure around, but it delivers a lot of fun in a small, energetic package. And honestly, fighting off bizarre enemies with a parasol never stops being fun.
