Stranger Things VR

As a big fan of the series, the idea of immersing myself in the world of Hawkins in Stranger Things VR was extremely enticing. However, while some aspects of the game pleasantly surprised me, others left me disappointed. The fidelity to the series' aesthetics and the overall atmosphere are undoubtedly the game's strong points. However, the repetitive gameplay and the lack of innovation in the plot dampened my enthusiasm.

But the story isn’t all that and, overall, this game is more of a missed opportunity than a breakthrough in the VR horror genre.

Somewhere between a non-interactive VR experience and a half-baked licensed game, the latest Stranger Things VR experience has neither a coherent storyline nor proper action.
