Super Engine GT Turbo SPEC had an appealing arcade premise and a cel-shaded look that immediately catches the eye, but frustrating collision-heavy controls, empty progression and a clear lack of content end up stalling the whole engine.
Read full review ↗Super Engine GT Turbo SPEC is fun, accessible, and charming in its presentation, but ultimately limited in scope. It looks the part, plays smoothly, and feels nostalgic, but it runs out of gas too quickly for serious racing fans.
Read full review ↗Super Engine GT Turbo SPEC is a modern game, but with a strong influence from retro experiences, that delivers content that is in line with the price charged. It is recommended for those looking for quick and straightforward fun, since the game gets straight to the point and delivers quality races, with a classic 3D or isometric view of the games, depending on the customer’s taste. It is very good to play in portable mode, when we only have 5 or 10 minutes available, you know?
Read full review ↗This is a pretty small and underwhelming indie racer. I guess I should say it’s a competent game devoid of glitches and issues, but I was also not having a lot of fun playing it. I played Super Engine GT Turbo SPEC for about an hour and half, whilst thinking I could have stopped after just 45 minutes, considering how repetitive and devoid of content it is.
Read full review ↗I understand and respect the developer's proposal: to create games as a hobby. However, charging for a project of this level? It would be more acceptable if it were available for free on itch.io. But no: there is a price here, albeit a low one. Super Engine GT Turbo Spec is generic, uninspired and not very fun. You might be able to extract a minimum of entertainment from it if you turn off your brain, but even then, it's hard to believe that.
Read full review ↗While Super Racing GT Turbo SPEC promises a fun arcade racing experience with its colour visuals and top-down viewpoint, it ultimately disappoints thanks to providing little excitement and having a serious lack of content and features.
