Superhot VR's fantastically clever time-manipulating concept empowers you with the superhuman reflexes of a slow-motion action hero. SUPERHOT VR is one of the most inventive first-person shooters you'll find on any gaming system – let alone PlayStation VR. The title leverages the fledgling peripheral to intensely satisfying effect, but a reliance on repetition to pad its short running time and some unintuitive systems prevent it from being a bonafide classic. Moreover, by pushing Sony's virtual reality headset to its very limits it does hit a few technical snags, but when the stars align this is the very definition of a killer app. Quite literally.

Overall, Superhot VR is a really good way to experience the game, possibly better than the original, but it bothers me that it was censored so long after it came out. A toggle that allowed players to avoid sensitive content already existed, so it’s unnecessary to remove the graphic content from the game entirely.

SUPERHOT VR is a challenging but very fun game. Punch, slash and shoot your way through various levels of intense combat and bullet-dodging action. Multiple weapon types from the thrown shuriken to quick-firing uzis are available throughout this action-packed game.

The SUPERHOT Team have done an incredible job making you feel like an absolute badass and the star of your own action film. While it can get frustrating at times if the PSVR camera loses track of you or your move wands the game’s smart use of colour, unique time mechanic and replay-ability options make it one of the best action PSVR titles available.

Overall I think this is a must buy for any psvr owner and would be a fantastic game to showcase the fun you can have.

SUPER HOT is a fantastic game, and one that is hiding secretly as a fantastic FPS mixed with a puzzle game, getting to the end will get you a feeling that other games just do not give you these days.

If you’re after a virtual reality experience that is a bit different and won’t take ages to complete then Superhot VR is definitely that.
