All of the games featured here are worthy of your time, then, making this one of the best retro collections you can get on Switch right now.

Taito Milestones 3 from ININ Games represents Taito arcade classics well. While it’s nothing more than a collection of Arcade Archives games, it still is nice to have more bang for your buck all in one place. I wish there was more history added to each game, just giving them more context and beef, but the price doesn’t warrant that type of Atari 50 effort. It’s still a solid collection.

Taito Milestones 3 has some of the best games in these collections to date, but I would really love it if they spent some time adding a sort of museum. I would love to learn more about these obscure arcade titles.

A great selection of Taito arcade games, in a mix of action and puzzles. Well worth discovering, especially if you missed the “arcade archives”.

Due to rarities like Dead Connection and Warrior Blade, and a couple of classics in Bubble Bobble and Rastan Saga, Taito Milestones 3 is a fairly good investment for arcade enthusiasts and retro game collectors. Its biggest problem, outside of a handful of middling titles, is the same flaw that has affected all three compilations: a lack of special features and connective tissue binding the games together.

If these Taito milestone compilations are to continue, a slightly lower price combined with a couple more exclusives could be the winning combination. Some extra historical content (seen in comparable collections) could add welcomed value, too. But I'll say this for emphasis, if you already own the A-material in this third installment as individual Arcade Archive releases, you might not be the ideal audience.

Taito Milestones 3 introduces us to another ten classic Taito titles released for arcades in the 80s and early 90s. The selection includes some heavyweights from the Taito catalogue such as Bubble Bobble and Rainbow Islands: The Story of Bubble Bobble 2, but also some lesser-known games, and the extras in the compilation are conspicuous by their absence as in the previous installments - beyond the configuration options for each game, the option to save state and the online rankings. In any case, this type of product dedicated to the preservation of the classics is appreciated, although it could be pampered a little more.

Taito Milestones 3 offers a solid collection of games; many of which are so full of muscular man meat that you could almost smell it. 🕹️

Taito Milestones 3 is a nostalgic celebration, offering a genuine journey into the golden age of arcades. The game selection is among the best in the series, with classics like Bubble Bobble and Rastan Saga standing out for quality and replayability. However, the lack of extra content and modern improvements limits its appeal to a broader audience.
