Overall, Terrible Lizards has an enjoyable environment and creepy atmosphere, but AI bugs and a shaky parkour system really hampered the experience for me. For a game that prides itself on parkour and staying away from combat, these two things should’ve been refined further. The setting of the Dalton’s Dinos attraction stands out to me as one of the best horror settings I’ve been in and left me wanting more, and the lore built into this title through its various levels had me invested in the outcome of this mystery right up until the very end, which makes it a game that I can recommend, but with a few concessions.

It’s a short day retreat that you enjoy the whole time, marvel at while you’re inside of it, and smile about as you walk out. It doesn’t have to be perfect in every way, and it’s made to be a blast while you’re experiencing it.

Read full review ↗Booting up Terrible Lizards for the first time, I wasn’t exactly expecting a spiritual sequel to Mirror’s Edge masquerading as a horror game and yet…that is almost exactly what I got. Despite an iffy opening and some technical issues, it manages to pull off a fitting homage to its inspiration, while also bringing plenty of its own flavor to the table. If you want a truly unique horror experience, Terrible Lizards might just fit the bill.
