Somewhere in the parallel universe there is a world made of the plane realities. These planes float around the sacred jewel – TetraGen. Since the dawn of time it had been a prosperous world with no place for anything evil in it… until out of nowhere a mysterious dark energy started to grow in Tetragon. After a while it had spawned the most bizarre creature intending to destroy the TetraGen and plunge the world of Tetragon into the chaos! Eventually, this creature had reached its goal and the TetraGen jewel was broken into the pieces. Only by using all of its powers the Will of Tetragon managed to imprison the dark creature but it was too late. Now someone brave has to fix this broken world by retrieving the pieces of TetraGen...

Tetragon is a good and fun puzzle platformer with interesting challenges and creative core mechanics. However, its short duration and some technical problems end up limiting the game's success.

Tetragon is not a poor game at all. But now it can only be suggested to a specific and limited group of gamers, provided they are ready to focus on strengths rather than being careful with the negative points of gameplay.

Overall, Tetragon is a great idea on paper, but the end result is frustrating and underwhelming. With the shift in difficulty and mechanics halfway through, it’s hard to say if it’s worth persevering through the second half until the end.

Tetragon puzzles are fun and entertaining, until you make a mistake that is. Without any way to rectify a mistake you have made in a puzzle, other than trying to retrace the moves you made backwards it can get frustrating. A rewind feature added to the puzzles would be a great feature to have. You could move back a few steps to remedy your mistake. Tetragon is playable as it is, but it would be so much more playable and enjoyable with a hint or rewind feature.

If you’re looking for a few hours of fun and excitement or if you’re looking to test that ol’ noggin of yours, Tetragon should be on your list of must-play titles. It’s just $15 USD so it’s well worth the price of admission. The developers really knocked the level and puzzle design out of the park for an overall incredibly captivating experience. Tetragon truly is a magical and addictive world to get lost in.

The concept of Tetragon is very creative and well-applied. Though it may seem repetitive in theory, each stage has a unique creative resolution that is a treat for anyone who enjoys the genre. Unfortunately, its performance lapses interrupt the fun several times.
