The Adventures of Bertram Fiddle: Episode 1 is a nice, but short game. It's hilarious at times, but mostly quite average. It's a great title for people looking for easy achievements or adventure enthusiasts.

All in all, the first episode of The Adventures of Bertram Fiddle has lots of British charm and humour, as well as enough intrigue about it to have you coming back for more. I’m looking forward to seeing how the future episodes pan out on this one and recommend you pick this up too.

It is thanks to its tremendous character, tongue-in-cheek puns and quirky charm that The Adventures of Bertram Fiddle: Episode 1 – A Dreadly Business starts off on the right foot. The story is a humorous one even if not every joke lands as intended and the puzzles need a little more breadth in approach, but the start of these new “Adventurings” are promising.

The Adventures of Bertram Fiddle: Episode 1: A Dreadly Business is a fun point and click adventure game on Nintendo Switch that is easy to recommend with its great looking graphics, charming characters, great voice acting and fun and simple puzzles. This is a short one but one you should definitely play, and I look forward to checking out the second episode later this year.

undefined.Overall, The Adventures of Bertram Fiddle plays well on the Switch and is a wonderful little entry point into the genre made popular by games like The Secret of Monkey Island and Day of the Tenticle. The Adventures of Bertram Fiddle isn't quite as epic or hilarious as those two gems, but it has its moments. I'm looking forward to doing more adventuring and “exploratoring” when Episode 2 hits the eShop in the near future.

I had a lot of fun with The Adventures of Bertram Fiddle: Episode 1: A Dreadly Business. The game is short and to the point, a very unique, colorful and charming art style, funny writing, and puzzles that won't leave you scratching your head since every single one of them is logically sound. I had a chat with Seb Burnett from Rumpus Animation about the second (and so far final) episode making its way to Nintendo Switch, and he basically said it depends on how this first one does on the console, so be sure to go and download it today so that we can soon get the full experience!

The Adventures of Bertram Fiddle: Episode 1: A Dreadly Business is a breath of fresh air in the point-and-click genre, bringing with it fantastic art work and excellent voice acting, along with tough-but-not-overly-so puzzles, a wonderfully intuitive inventory and control system, as well as bucket-loads of charm and personality. Spiffingly good work, ol' chap!
